  Just had hand surgery 1 day ago so I can't carry anything in one of my hands. Long story short, I needed a couple things, lip balm and gauze to change or my bandages. By the way its really damn obvious I had just had surgery...I put the package of lip balm under my forearm to get a package of gauze..next thing I know your panzy rent a cop who looked to be maybe 20, will not leave my wife and I alone. Standing over us the rest of the time in the store. I gross 30k a month. Your idiot rent a cop made not only my wife feel uncomfortable but me too. You lost my business after 15 years of shopping there. Horrible. Total dick!

  Convenient, clean, friendly and helpful staff. The selection of items that they carry is surprisingly varied for the location. Also, we have been very impressed with their fresh seafood counter.

  First time going to Gerbes and there was barely anything stocked. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because I want to give them a benefit of the doubt since a lot of people were purchasing groceries for the upcoming winter storm and maybe that's why the shelves were barely stocked. However, the fruit were rotten, especially the strawberries. One of the employees was rude, just walked in front of me and swung the door open of the freezer without saying excuse me, while he was ranting loudly and complaining to himself about his job. Another customer and I just looked at him like he was crazy. I should have reported him, but screw it. I'll just never shop at a Gerbes again. Prices were way too high, with a small selection.
